Trading opened today at 1037.50, up 8 points from Thursday's 1029.50 close. Trading quickly hit the day's high of 1038.75 then turned and proceeded down to the low of 1022.00 shortly after 12:30pm market time. From there prices consolidated into a 4.5 point range and ended the week's trading at 1026.50, closing down 3.25 points from Thursday's close.
Intraday range was 16.75 points, and about half of that between open and close.
